The new publication of the National Association of the Hungarian Association of Agricultural Machine Manufacturers (MEGOSZ) discusses the possibilities, resources, and results of domestic agricultural machine development. In the past year, the association’s presidency and general assembly decided that it is particularly necessary to deal with the analysis of the promoting and hindering factors of the competitive technical development. The Covid period and the appeared economic situation made it clear: the price of the machine is no longer in the first place among the marketing factors of agricultural machinery. In addition, our entire agricultural economy is at a crossroads: there are more and more decisive arguments in favour of changing the production structure and the usual technologies.
